Hey Paul! Just catching up...these tonals: are they done with pencil on bristol? I should check your articles in DRAW!...
Hi Warren...my method changed from time to time, and these were from a while back...but I believe I xeroxed an inked line drawing onto Strathmore paper, then toned it, first with grey Pantone markers, then added more darks and gradations with black Prismacolor pencil.
