That rain effect is perfect! I love the lopsided plane design, I keep thinking "Hey you smoking... grab that tail, it's gonna fall over". Very nice sketchbook piece!

Really love this concept, although in some respects I'd say this has a 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow' feel about it I'd say their concepts were more retro and art Deco in a way, this really looks like the British Airforce could have built it,a really nice look putting the props at the rear of the Aircraft too.

Thanks Andrew and Shane for the comments!

Shane, nice to hear from you, and Andrew, yes I love WW1 and WW2 technology, the sketch was an attempt to design something that might have been from the WW1 era, pusher props, struts, etc, but also monstrously wrong too....as some of the designs from that time were, as they groped towards figuring out what would work and what wouldn't!

Brillant Mr Rivoche. But then you always are . I still cling tightly to my Mister X poster hoping it will rub off somehow.

Thanks dany! Bill Peet is one of my Art Gods! Although I wasn't intentionally trying to evoke his work...
